We’re delighted to share that Kohinoor House in Trevone Bay now has a pay-as-you-go smart EV charging point — offering our guests a convenient, eco-friendly way to stay powered up during their holiday.
Our VoltShare charger is compatible with all modern electric vehicles and provides up to 7.2kW of charging power. Guests can now arrive with complete peace of mind — no need to stop at motorway chargers or worry about running low on charge.
We’re proud to be supporting the zero-emission travel movement, helping to keep Cornwall’s coastline cleaner and its skies clearer.
The tethered Type 2 connection is available exclusively for guests staying at Kohinoor House. Please bring your own cable for use during your stay.

EV Charging Tariff Information
As of March 2025, our EV charging rate is £0.31 per kWh.
At present, we don’t have access to discounted off-peak electricity tariffs, so this rate reflects our standard energy cost. Please note that the price may change without prior notice, depending on fluctuations in our electricity supply costs.
In line with other commercially operated charging points, we’re required to include VAT in the rate. However, as we’re not VAT-registered, we’re unable to reclaim this portion.
A small uplift is also included to help cover the VoltShare service fee and to contribute towards the installation and maintenance costs of providing this on-site charging facility.
